What the badge does not do
A badge does not make the feed show your content to more people. It carries no ranking weight. If you have read elsewhere that verified accounts are pushed harder in recommendations or placed higher on the home feed, that is not how the system works.

On a per-day basis the yearly plan is by far the cheapest, working out at under a rupee a day. The 30-day plan exists for creators who want to try verification without committing, and it renews monthly.
Who should buy one
If you are serious about reel earnings, you need a badge, and you need it before the follower and view thresholds matter — there is no retroactive credit for views accumulated while unverified, so earning starts from when you are eligible.
If you post occasionally and have no interest in monetization, the badge buys you a tick, an extra daily upload and some credits. That may be worth ₹49 to you or it may not, but you should decide knowing it will not change your reach.
