What is a streak?
A streak is a daily back-and-forth with a friend. You send them a snap, they send one back — that completes the day and your streak goes up by one. A flame appears next to their name in your chat list with the number of days you have kept it alive.
- Both people have to send. One-way snaps do not advance a streak — it only counts once each of you has sent to the other.
- You get 24 hours. The clock starts when the first snap of the round is sent. If the exchange is not completed in time, the streak resets to zero.
- One per day, no matter how much you snap. Fifty snaps in an hour still counts as a single day — the streak can only go up once per calendar day.
- You can keep separate streaks with as many friends as you like, and each one has its own flame and its own day count.
When a streak is close to expiring, an hourglass appears next to it in the app so you have a chance to save it before the 24 hours run out.
How you earn streak points
Every time a streak advances a day, both people earn points. The longer you have kept that streak going, the more the day is worth.

- That rate applies to the first streak you extend each day. Every additional streak you keep alive the same day adds 5 points.
- Daily earnings are capped at 30 points per day, so there is no advantage to farming dozens of streaks at once — consistency beats volume.
- Points are credited to both sides automatically. There is nothing to claim.
Milestone bonuses
Reaching a milestone on any streak pays a one-off bonus — and unlike daily points, milestone bonuses ignore the daily cap. You also unlock a badge (bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond) on your profile.

What boost credits actually do
Boost credits buy reach. Point a boost at any post or reel and GoLiveGram shows it to people beyond your followers — in the home feed and explore — until the credits run out or the boost ends.
- The free 50-credit reward is worth about 2,500 impressions — 250 streak points, no money spent.
- Smallest boost is 50 credits; you can run up to 5 boosts at once, each for up to 30 days.
- Credits are only spent as impressions are actually delivered — if a boost ends early, the unspent balance returns to your wallet.
- Live performance (impressions, reach, spend) is visible in the app under Boost Insights.
