Boost Credits Explained: What Your Credits Actually Buy

The exact maths behind boost credits on GoLiveGram — how many impressions a credit buys, the minimum spend, every pack and its bonus, and when boosting is and is not worth it.

Boost credits are the simplest paid feature on GoLiveGram and the one most often bought without understanding the rate. This guide gives you the arithmetic so you can decide for yourself whether a boost is worth it for a given post.

The one number that matters

100 credits buys 1,000 impressions. That is the whole conversion rate, and every other figure on this page derives from it.

So 50 credits buys roughly 500 impressions, 200 credits buys about 2,000, and 1,000 credits buys about 10,000. An impression means your post was shown to someone — it is reach, not a guaranteed view, like, or follow.

Minimum boost

The smallest boost you can run is 50 credits. If your balance is below 50 you cannot start a boost at all, which catches out creators who receive a small credit bonus and expect to spend it immediately.

What boosting does and does not do

A boost buys distribution. It puts your post in front of more people than organic reach alone would have. It does not change how the feed ranks your content afterwards, it does not improve your account standing, and it does not affect your position in any league table.

This matters because the two are often confused. If your goal is reach on a specific post — a launch, a collaboration, a reel you believe in — boosting does exactly what it says. If your goal is to be favoured by the algorithm in general, boosting is not the tool.

Credit packs and their bonuses

Credits are sold in packs, and larger packs carry a bonus. The bonus is the only discount available — the base rate of one rupee per credit is the same across every pack.

PriceBase creditsBonusTotalApprox. impressions
₹100100+15115~1,150
₹300300+50350~3,500
₹500500+100600~6,000
₹1,0001,000+3001,300~13,000
₹2,0002,000+8002,800~28,000

The bonus scales faster than the price. The ₹100 pack returns a 15% bonus; the ₹2,000 pack returns 40%. If you boost regularly, buying in larger packs is straightforwardly better value — the credits do not expire differently by pack.

When a boost is worth it

Boosting works best on content that already shows signs of life. A reel that has earned a decent watch-through rate from its organic audience will convert boosted impressions into follows at a far better rate than a reel nobody engaged with. Boosting a weak post mostly buys you the knowledge that it was weak.

It is also worth remembering the earning bands if you are monetized. A reel needs 1,000 views to earn anything, so a boost that carries a reel from 600 to 1,200 views does more than add reach — it moves the reel into the first paying band.
